On the other hand, in the picture on the right (enlarge to see better), the "microbeads" are in fact very large and very visible, and they scratch across one's skin like raking little bumps that do not feel good on the skin.
So why is it important that the exfoliating wash we use contains microbeads that are really small like those in T-Zone Exfoliating Wash? That is because the skin our face is the most sensitive and using exfoliating washes with larger microbeads is similar to using a toilet brush to brush your teeth. It can do more harm than good to your skin, which is also the reason why T-Zone exfoliating wash is better than Brand X.

When I squeezed out a small amount of the Exfoliating Wash, I thought it smelled amazing, not that it was too overwhelmingly sweet or strong, but this very natural tangy scent of mild honey and a bit of lemony smell. The color is perfectly clear with many tiny little bubbles which I thought might be the microbeads.
The wash is relatively smooth on the skin considering the large amount of microbeads it contains, and the skin does not feel raped by the brush of microbeads against it. Instead it is quite soothing (as compared to Brand X's harsh stinging pain that enveloped my sense, oh-my-gosh) and does not hurt my face at all. After rinsing, I realized that ALL my black heads are gone and my skin looks much clearer and cleaner (no sign of peeling skin, have been suffering from that due to my skin's inability to adjust to climate change after returning from winter Shanghi).
Results:
After using, I was surprised that my face did not sting or smart (as it would have from using Brand X) but instead felt thoroughly refreshed and clean. Right after the wash, there is no sign of black head at all, so for me, I can confidently say that it removes 100% blackhead. It also made my pimple scars less obvious after 2 washes and after using it for 3 days, the scars have more or less faded away and the area of skin is no longer red and bumpy; in fact it became really quite smooth.
T-Zone has recommended that the Exfoliating Daily Wash could be used twice a day, and I have tried to do so despite the experts anxious words of caution that over-exfoliating the skin can do more harm than good. I have tried that for the past four days and I am delighted to tell you guys that I developed nothing like what the experts have claimed that one might develop when over-exfoliating: raw shiny and painful face like a baboon's backside?
Hence, I think that I would still go ahead and exfoliate my face once to twice a day base on needs (sometimes my face ain't that dirty you know) and I think you can safely do the same. The formula is really mild and I am very impressed by how non-painful the process of exfoliating can be since using the aforementioned Brand X has made me rather wary of stuff like micro-beads...
Overall, I would rate this amazing exfoliating wash a 5/5 because it is so amazing! Unlike the others, it can be used on a daily basis, and it definitely does not hurt my skin (not sure about yours though), and it smells good, feels good and it is very refreshing!
